Maze of Terror - Skullkrusher - (EP 2012. Lima, Perú)

Desde Lima presentamos a la banda de Thrash Metal MAZE OF TERROR y su ep del 2012 Skullkrusher:

Nuestra propuesta nace por iniciativa de Hammer y Leviathan que finalizando proyectos anteriores pusieron en marcha la idea de conformar una banda con un estilo brutal y agresivo, pero con un sonido pulido, así es como nace MAZE OF TERROR, nombre que elegimos por representar a la locura como algo que envuelve y no da lugar a escape, nuestras letras giran en torno a eso, nosotros no escribimos sobre Thrash Metal el Mosh o que significa ser un Banger, escribimos sobre la violencia, el odio o la brutalidad que puede envolver a una persona en algún momento de su vida, nuestro estilo está enmarcado dentro del Thrash Metal Sudamericano con toda la agresividad y brutalidad con la que esta parte del mundo se caracteriza, pero no nos limitamos dentro del género, ni somos un producto prefabricado, buscamos un estilo propio dentro de esa agresividad y velocidad.

En enero del 2012 después de meses arduos de composición, comenzamos la grabación del Ep Skullcrusher primera placa de la banda que fue compuesta íntegramente por Leviathan y Hammer a mediados de la grabación Bestial Slaughter se une al proyecto, en junio del mismo año se culminan las grabaciones, Bestial Slaughter termina su apoyo con la banda y entonces entra el guitarrista Criminal Mind, rápidamente aprende los temas y la banda se enrumba a las presentaciones en vivo.

Así queda la banda formada: Leviathan (Bass and Vocals), Hammer (Drums) Criminal Mind (Guitars).

Después de algunos conciertos aparece la propuesta en el mes de noviembre de una gira por el país vecino de Bolivia , la banda paso por las ciudades de La Paz, Sucre, Oruro, y Cochabamba, es en esta ciudad que la banda tiene la oportunidad de telonear a la banda leyenda WHIPLASH , durante la gira el sello Total Desaster de Argentina comandado por Luis Mogro saca una reedición de 100 copias en tape del Skullcrusher, terminando la gira de regreso a lima después de un mes de más conciertos , somos convocados para un concierto en Arequipa en el cual teloneamos a la leyenda alemana DESTRUCTION, donde tuvimos un gran apoyo del público asistente, luego de esto los planes de la banda son buscar más conciertos y concretar material nuevo, mientras esperamos disfruten escuchando el Ep Skullcrusher de principio a fin.
